How is IWD2021 celebrated at UTokyo?

This short film was made in recognition of the Women of UTokyo, to celebrate IWD together at UTokyo during the COVID-19 pandemic. The verb “to recognise” means to acknowledge formally, to take notice of, and to perceive clearly.

We hope this film will remind the UTokyo community that a growing pillar of its members are women, and of their contribution to the University of Tokyo. 

In addition, we would be so happy if this film can give courage to younger female students who are feeling lonely because they see few women at UTokyo, by showing their diverse supporters.
